The Usual is the same simple plan at the same time each week, so you can see the same faces again if you want. After each event you mark who you would happily go again with, and people who say yes to each other across two or three events become a crew, with first refusal on the next slot.
How to start after a move
- Join Mirth with your new city. Sign-ups are open in every country.
- Open your city page from https://joinmirth.com/cities to see member-hosted events, Ideas for The Usual and what else is on nearby.
- Book something at your level and go on your own if you like.
- Go back to the same Usual, and do the debrief each time so Mirth can keep you with the people you liked.
- If nothing is on yet near you, any approved member can host The Usual in their own city. See Host an event.
Who it suits
- Adults new to an area who want a regular plan with familiar faces.
- People who prefer doing something together, such as a walk, a run or a games night, to small talk at a mixer.
Who it does not suit
- Anyone under 18.
- Anyone who wants an instant, fixed group in a place where no one hosts yet: groups form as local members join and host.
